Funding clarity fuels growth of leading windows manufacturer

Weatherglaze Windows has been Ireland’s leading supplier of PVC windows and doors for over 45 years. The family-owned business employs up to 70 people and is based in Gorey, Wexford, where it has its factory and processing centre. Weatherglaze buys in lengths of PVC glass which are then cut and assembled to produce windows, doors, sliding windows and conservatories. All of this activity is carried out on-site before the finished goods are transported around the country for use in buildings and conservatories nationwide.

With an ever-expanding product range, and a focus on innovation, the business depends on financing for additional machinery and upgrades that allow it to continue producing cutting-edge designs.

Weatherglaze first turned to Bibby Financial Services Ireland ahead of a round of new product launches in 2017. Requiring additional capital expenditure, Weatherglaze were unable to get the support they needed from the main pillar banks, and instead turned to Bibby Financial Services Ireland.
